I'm sure you have noticed by now, your Chrome browser looks a little different. Google launched new features and a fresh look for Chrome's 15th birthday.
Visually, the browser looks more modern, but some features have been moved around and new ones added.
Check out the screenshots below or watch a quick video tour demo 👉 HERE.
Here are a few of the main ones you may want to take note of:
1. There is now a dropdown in the top left; you can access open tabs, re-open recently closed tabs; and search tabs.
2. The menu options that were located in the URL search bar have been moved to the "three dots" menu in the top right.
A few of the items you may use more frequently are now located here.
This includes:
- Save & Share: The QR Code feature and "Copy Link" are now in this menu
- Translate: Your students can easily translate a page without opening Google Translate
- Downloads: You can easily access your downloads from this menu as well; OR notice the new icon in the top right (this is where your downloads are saved)
